Through the scan menu you can scan your files for viruses or scan your browsers for unsafe add-ons and plug-ins.

Scan for Viruses
The quick scan performs a scan of the areas on your computer that are most susceptible to malware infections. A full scan performs an in-depth scan of the entire system.
A settings menu within scan provides for a customized virus scan for both the quick or full versions. Here you can choose options such as system drives and removable media, the type of programs that are scanned and how you would like rootkits to be analyzed.

Scan for Browsers
The browser scan analyzes plugins for all your browsers and isolates those that have a reputation for allowing downloads of suspicious files and threats. Once notified of add-ons with a poor reputation, you can choose to remove or ignore them. During this process you will be asked to choose a default browser.
